At Precision Pine our main goal is to assure that each customer is satisfied. With over twenty-five years’ experience and thousands of successful installations of spiral stair kits, we have enough confidence in our product and factory assistance that we offer this simple money-back guarantee:
For 30 days after receiving your kit, if your spiral stair is not to your satisfaction we will take it back and refund your money.
To offer this warranty we will rely on the information you give us. We will design a workable layout based on your information and desires. The customer must approve the final layout before we manufacture the kit. It behooves the customer to double check critical dimensions. Incorrect information from the customer could void the warranty.
Failure to follow Precision Pine’s recommendations for the receiving, storing, finishing and installation of your kit may void the warranty. Precision Pine expects customers to make a good faith effort in the areas listed below.
–Upon receipt of the kit assure that all packages are carefully inspected for damage. Be sure whoever takes delivery is aware of this requirement. Any damage must be noted in writing on all copies of the delivery receipt and the customer should notify Precision Pine as soon as possible.
–Wood is a perishable product. All parts should be unwrapped as soon as practicable after receipt, handled properly to avoid damage and kept cool, dry and out of the sun until installation. Do not store on concrete. Even if there is an air gap between the parts and the concrete the wood can pick up moisture from the concrete. Precision Pine will not accept returned parts that have been subjected to adverse conditions or damaged after receipt.
–Customers often choose to pre-finish (stain and/or varnish) the wood parts before assembly. If you decide to pre-finish be aware that Precision Pine cannot take back finished parts. That being said it is recommended that parts are finished if they are not going to be assembled right away. Be sure to follow the instructions in the assembly manual, there are some parts that should NOT be finished before they are assembled. Call Precision Pine if you have any questions.
–Precision Pine expects customers to make a bona-fide attempt to install the spiral stair according to the installation manual and detailed custom instructions. We ask that you call us if you have any questions. Our technical support is available from 9 a.m. till 4 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. We try to answer every call with a person, but sometimes all our phones are in use. Please leave a message. If we miss your call we will get back to you as quickly as we can.
–Our warranty’s 30-day limit has been set because sometimes kits are delivered and due to construction delays, work on the spiral does not begin until months afterwards. We are not able to guarantee that we can assure your satisfaction when the uninstalled kit has been out of our hands for extended periods.
In the event you are not pleased by our product or service simply call for us to authorize the return. We will ask that the parts be wrapped as they were when they left our factory. Precision Pine will arrange for pick-up and will pay the return shipping costs. And as long as you have done what we asked of you, we will issue your check for repayment.
