Tips For Planning Spiral Stairs

When ordering a spiral stair you will need to give us an idea of your top and bottom floor plans so that we can layout the spiral for the best access at the top and bottom floors. We will need to know what walls or other obstructions are near the spiral on both floors. Using this information Precision Pine will develop a custom floor plan for your spiral. Professional plans are not required. Simple line drawings will do. You should not spend more than 5 minutes preparing a plan for us. Let us do the work for you.

If floor plans are available there is even a quicker way: simply copy onto 8-1/2" x 11" paper the areas around the spiral on each of the floors. If the spiral is not shown on the plans, use a simple circle to show where the spiral will be located.
