Exterior Spirals: The design of the Smart Spiral Handrail lends itself to exterior applications that can last indefinitely. Exterior spiral stairs provide a unique appearance for decks and save room. Exterior spiral stairs of wood are not as austere looking as metal spiral stairs. Precision Pine's exterior spirals are manufactured out of pressure-treated Southern Yellow Pine. Stainless steel is used for all fasteners. |

Stairs taller than 9'-6" (114"): for each additional tread required add $220. Each additional tread adds up to 9-1/2" to stair height. Example: heights from over 114" up to 123-1/2" require one additional tread, add $220 to the above prices; heights of over 123-1/2" up to 132", add two treads, $440; over 132" up to 141-1/2", add three treads, $660.
Exterior spiral stairs do not include the top landing deck and top landing rails. These are to be built of locally available exterior deck materials that can be procured more economically than if they were included in the kit.
